What makes Froehlich Signature Homes so different than all the other builders?
The Froehlich Difference can be summed up in two words – meticulous details. And we apply this detail to create a home superior in five specific areas:
Better design means a more enjoyable living experience. Froehlich Signature Homes only works with the finest, most experienced architects.
The communities Froehlich builds in provide a better place for you and your family to grow in and maintain the value of your home. Design guidelines ensure that the homes built reflect the style of the area and the architectural traditions that have made Froehlich Signature Homes the leader in custom home communities.
Better designed and built homes give the most value for your housing dollar. You don’t have to spend time and money finding a suitable building lot, working with an architect, finding a builder and dealing with the uncertainty of tradespeople. Froehlich Signature Homes will do it all.
Building a new home should be a pleasant experience. Our subcontractors and employees are selected for their quality of work and reliability to serve our clients better. Every Froehlich home is built by the same tradespeople every time.
We work hard every day to make the home building process easy for you. At Froehlich Signature Homes, our years of experience make this process as smooth as possible. Our team of professionals provides you with the selection and pricing information to achieve the home you desire.
We pride ourselves on being Bakersfield’s premiere luxury homebuilder.
Why do options cost more than at the hardware store?
You may well find certain options cheaper at home improvement discount stores. Few vendors order enough parts from a manufacturer to receive the pricing break of a national chain. But keep in mind that those prices do not necessarily include all the items necessary for installation of the product. Additionally, they do not include the builder risk, builder warranty, administrative tasks, scheduling, insurance, coordination with other trades, damage done by trades, delivery, etc.
May I visit my new home prior to closing?
We encourage you to visit your home periodically while it is being constructed. A construction site is a very dangerous place. Due to hazardous conditions and potential dangers on the construction site, our insurance policy will not permit any unauthorized persons to enter onto our construction sites without the permission of Froehlich Signature Homes. As we must adhere to these requirements, should you wish to view your new home prior to taking possession, you must call the Sales Office as (661) 588-0192 for permission. Plan to visit your new home Monday through Friday between 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
What happens on closing?
Homeowner Orientation – You will receive a phone call to arrange a Homeowner Orientation with a Froehlich representative approximately one week prior to your closing date. The homeowner orientation has two purposes. The first is to demonstrate the features of your home and discuss maintenance and our limited warranty program. Equally important, we want to confirm that we have delivered your new home at the quality level shown in our model homes and with all your selections correctly installed.
Title/Escrow Company – All documentation is forwarded to your title/escrow company who will contact you to sign paperwork and transfer funds. This is usually done several days prior to closing.
What happens after I move in?
A representative from Froehlich Signature Homes will call you within the first week to answer questions and deal with your immediate concerns. After you’ve been in your home for approximately 60 days, submit any new items for which you wish to request service to Froehlich Signature Homes. Our service representative will arrange a meeting to clear up any items on your list. After six months, you may submit a request for service and again after one year. All emergency service items are dealt with immediately.
